Day two of NaPoWriMo. Today’s prompt is to write a poem about stars. Pretty straightforward one, compared to the prompt yesterday.
Clear skies on a cloudless night,
Provides quite a beautiful sight.
A view hidden by the sunlight,
Because nothing else is as bright.
looking for patterns is a pain,
Even when there’s no cloud or rain.
Constellations may appear mundane
To experts, for us a bargain.
A starry night that stretches far,
The rare chance of a shooting star.
Which is a meteor, not a star
You think about how far they are.
Meteor showers would blow your mind,
Northern lights are one of a kind.
Although these sights are hard to find,
It’s worth the impact on your mind.
